Denise brings a strong foundation of discipline, with 10 years in martial arts and a 35-year career as a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She is also a four-time qualifier of the Boston Marathon.
She was named Macomb County Volunteer of the Year for her work with MCREST, Meals on Wheels, The Parade Company, and mentoring with A Beautiful Me. She also spent 11 years teaching religious education.
